After a day of breathtaking wildlife encounters, we enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the middle of the park, where you can experience the sounds of the African wilderness. The next morning we set out again for an additional game drive before driving back to Dar Es Salaam.

What to expect.
🦁 Morning departure & journey to Mikumi
We will depart Dar Es Salaam early in the morning to make the most of the day. The drive to Mikumi takes about 5 to 6 hours, depending on traffic. Along the way, we will stop at a local spot for a cup of Tanzanian coffee and a short break before the adventure begins.
🐘 Game drive – spot the Big Five!
Upon arrival at Mikumi National Park, we will go on a safari right away! We drive deep into the park with a special safari jeep, where there is a good chance that you will encounter elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and even leopards. Our experienced guide will tell you all about the wild animals and their habitats.
🌅 Overnight in the park
After an impressive first day, we close the evening with a delicious dinner and spend the night in a lodge or tented camp in the middle of the park. Here you will experience the magic of the African night – the sounds of the savannah complete this experience.
🌄 Morning game drive & return
Early the next morning we take another game drive, the best time to see predators actively hunting. Then we enjoy a leisurely breakfast and drive back to Dar Es Salaam, with a head full of unforgettable memories.

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel or other agreed location in Dar Es Salaam. We return the next day in the afternoon.
