You dive into the beating heart of Dar Es Salaam. Kariakoo Market is one of the city’s largest and busiest markets, where you’ll find a maze of narrow streets filled with stalls. All kinds of products are sold here: from fresh vegetables and spices to clothing and electronics. Known for its energetic atmosphere, the market has been an important trading spot in the city since colonial times.

🐟 Ferry Fish Market
At this lively market, near the ferry terminal, you’ll get a unique insight into Tanzania’s fishing culture. You’ll see the most exotic fish and seafood you may never have seen before. The fish sale resembles an auction, where traders and buyers haggle over the price. An interesting experience that also provides insight into the price differences between Tanzania and Europe when it comes to fish and seafood.

🏛 National Museum of Tanzania
The museum introduces you to the diverse cultures and traditions of Tanzania. You will see various traditional houses of the country’s many tribes.
